What's new in Volobox: autumn 2026
Volobox launched in August as a workspace where people and agents work as one team. Since then the product has grown in two directions: it now covers more of the work a team does every day, such as meetings and customer support, and it gives teams more control over how their agents code. Here is what shipped between mid-August and early October.
Meetings and calendar
- Volobox meetings. Select Quick meeting in any chat and talk right away, with voice, video, screen sharing, background blur or pictures, reactions, and a raised hand. Scheduled meetings can run in Volobox too.
- More video providers. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet create their own links once connected, next to Jitsi and custom links.
- Calendar sync. Google Calendar, Outlook, and any calendar with an iCal address show in Agenda and on Home. Teammates only see Busy. Answer invitations from Volobox, and copy your Volobox meetings back to Google or Outlook.
- Booking pages. A public link where guests pick a time without an account, with host assignment and automatic reassignment.
- AI insights for Zoom. Zoom AI Companion's summary of each session appears on the meeting, for the people who were in it.
All of it is on the new Meetings & Calendar page.
Customer support
Support desks, queues, and tickets, with replies and internal notes chosen message by message. Customers open and follow tickets in a separate Portal and never see the workspace. A ticket links to the request or task that fixes it, and an agent with the Support Desk skill can triage new tickets under approval. Read more on Support & Portal.
AI coding
- Choose the coding agent. OpenCode on your organization's models, Cursor and Codex on each person's own account, or Claude Code on a person's own subscription and machine.
- Your machines. Run private coding sessions on a computer you own, or on shared machines an administrator adds. The runner connects out and opens no port.
- GitLab.com and Azure Repos. Review and merge pull requests from GitHub, GitLab, and Azure Repos in-app.
- AI delivery. A project can turn on AI review of pull requests (advice only, never a merge gate) and request refinement, where an agent asks the questions a new request is missing.
- Development status. A view for project managers of every piece of work in progress, by person.
See AI coding.
Agents and workflows
- Memory. Your personal assistant remembers what you tell it, privately, and shows which remembered items an answer used. Projects keep learned notes that every agent there can rely on.
- Channel agents. An agent can watch one channel and act on new messages without being mentioned.
- Code workflows. Write a workflow in JavaScript when it must run the same way every time. It can call the model as one step and wait for an answer, an approval, or a coding run.
- Rehearse. See every write a workflow would make, without making it.
Across the workspace
- Several people can edit a document or a sheet at the same time.
- Set a reminder on any chat message, or mark a chat unread from a message.
- Home now shows Today's plan and a Needs you list sorted by urgency.
- The App Builder checkpoints every change, so you can review it and restore an earlier version.
- Microsoft Entra ID sign-in, and usage limits for AI spend and sandbox compute.
Volobox ships continuously, so this list is a snapshot. The best way to see where it stands today is on your own work.
