Volobox is generally available with 30-day free trial

In August we introduced Volobox, the workspace where people and agents work as one team, and started onboarding teams one at a time through demos. Today Volobox is generally available. Any team can request a free demo, have its own workspace set up the same day, and use it free for 30 days.
What "generally available" means here
Two things were true in August and are still true: we run our own company on Volobox, and it has been in production with real teams the whole time. What changes today is who can get in and how fast.
- Anyone can start. No waiting list and no design-partner selection. The demo is free, the setup is free, and the first 30 days are free.
- The product kept moving. Meetings inside Volobox, calendar sync, booking pages, support desks and a customer Portal, a choice of coding agents, sandboxes on your own machines, AI review of pull requests, Code workflows, agent memory. The full list is in What's new in Volobox: autumn 2026. Volobox ships continuously, so that post is already a snapshot.
- The plans are set. Three plans, cloud or on-premise, with capacity as the only difference between them. More on that below.
What does not change: we still start with a demo, because the best first hour with Volobox is on your own work, not on sample data.
How to start
- Request a free demo. A 30-minute walkthrough on your use cases. Bring an open issue and we will run the loop on it: an agent takes the task, you watch the coding session, and a pull request comes back. Request a demo.
- We set up your workspace the same day. Your own Volobox Cloud workspace on the plan you are evaluating, with model access we manage, so agents work on the first day. We set it up with you: people and permissions, your repositories, your first agents.
- Use it free for 30 days. Your team, your projects, your repositories, your chat. When the trial ends you choose a plan and keep working; otherwise the workspace is closed. No payment details are needed to start.
Cloud or on-premise
Volobox Cloud is the default: we run it, we update it, and your team signs in. The Business plan can run on dedicated infrastructure that serves your workspace alone.
Enterprise runs where you need it: Volobox Cloud, a private cloud, or on-premise. Your own model endpoints can stay fully inside your network, and you can bring your own sandbox vendor account. On-premise starts with a conversation and a security review rather than a trial, because the setup is yours.
Either way the trust model is the same: every agent action is permissioned, approved, and audited, and the audit log is exportable with API access for your SIEM.
Plans differ in capacity, not capability
Every plan has the full product: the workspace, agents, coding sessions, workflows, Custom Apps, library packs, MCP in both directions, and the governance model. What differs is how much runs at once and for how many people: team members, team agents, coding sandboxes and workflow runs running at the same time, Files storage, support desks and customer accounts.
- Team, up to 50 people, in Volobox Cloud on AI models we run for you.
- Business, up to 200 people, with bring-your-own keys (BYOK) for your LLM providers and more agent work in parallel.
- Enterprise, for more than 200 people or any team that needs private cloud or on-premise deployment, on a custom agreement.
Every workspace starts with LLM credit and sandbox compute credit; after the credit is used, that usage is billed on your invoice. On Business and Enterprise you can connect your own LLM providers and pay them directly, with no per-token charge from us. Billing is per seat, monthly or annual. The plan comparison is on the Pricing page.
What you get, in one paragraph
A complete workspace first: projects with boards and milestones, team chat, docs, files, meetings, and support desks with a customer Portal. Agents that work in it like teammates: assign them tasks, mention them in chat, put them on scheduled playbooks. The coding loop: an agent takes a task to a pull request in an isolated sandbox while you watch the terminal, the diffs, the plan, and what each step costs, then you review the PR in Volobox and "request changes" hands your feedback back to the agent. Governance engineered in: approval cards, three authorization modes, standing rules with budgets, rate limits, and an audit log. And a workspace you can shape: library packs, skills, commands, MCP, Custom Apps, and your own models and keys.
If you are coming from a tracker, a chat app, a wiki, and a coding assistant, you do not have to replace them on day one. Start with one project, keep GitHub or GitLab issues in sync, connect what you already use over MCP, and begin with agents in Ask mode.
Thank you
To the teams that worked with us through early access, who sent the bug reports, asked the hard questions, and let agents loose on their real backlogs: thank you. Volobox is what it is today because of that work.
If you have been waiting for the door to open, it is open. Request a demo, and we will set up your workspace the same day.
